The National Automobile Club (NAC) appreciates the trust you place in us. You trust us with private, personal information when you visit our website or portal as a visitor, as a NAC Member and as a NAC Customer. We are committed to protecting your private information when you share business information while seeking quotes or while purchasing road services from us.

 

NAC does not sell information that is collected from you or about your business to others. We collect information from the following sources:

  • The information you provide on applications (such as your name, address, telephone, or credit card number).

  • Your transactions with us (such as your payment history and service usage information).

  • The information you provide on visits to our website through contact forms, emails or phone.

Locator Services Terms and Conditions

 

Description of Service:  In order to dispatch roadside assistance, National Automobile Club may need to obtain your location using your mobile phone.  If this is necessary, NAC will ask for your consent and permission for your wireless carrier to share your current location with us.

There is no representation, warranty or guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any location data, product or service.

 

Opting Out:  You may opt out of the service by declining to give consent and permission.  If you choose to give consent and permission to be located, you automatically opt out when the service is completed.  You will not be located again until the next time you call for roadside assistance and give your consent.

 

Use of your personal information

We treat your information with respect and concern for your privacy. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our members, former members, customers, vendors, employees, or job applicants to anyone, except as required or permitted by law.

 

Independent Agents & Brokers

The Independent Insurance Agents authorized to sell NAC memberships are not NAC employees, and not subject to NAC's Privacy Policy. They have a unique business relationship with you, they may have additional personal information about you that NAC does not have. They may use this information differently than NAC. Contact your insurance agent/broker to learn more about their privacy practices.

 

Information collected
We collect personal information (for example, name, address, telephone, credit card number) on our website only when you voluntarily provide it to us. Your domain and in some cases your email (individual or company) is recognized when you visit our website.

 

Information sharing and use
NAC does not sell information about you to others. If you only browse our website and do not supply any information, you will not receive unsolicited e-mail, telephone calls, or other marketing materials from NAC as a result of your visit.
