Credit Check Policy

NAC Road Service runs a credit check for all business types prior to providing them with roadside assistance services.

 

We require legal name, Federal Tax ID and registered address for interested company, business, organization or non-profit looking to get roadside assistance from us.

 

NAC Road Service's Approval Methodology

Based on the credit score

 

Credit score below 10 or not available:

  1. Application is denied.
  2. For a substantial vehicle base, a deposit of 6 months of expected costs will be obtained.

 

Credit score between 11 to 50:

NAC will review credit information in detail to determine any historical business legal filings or collections (bankruptcy, tax lien, judgment filings).

  1. If any filings were identified, application will be denied.

    1. For a substantial vehicle base, a deposit of 6 months of expected costs will be obtained.

  2. If no filings were identified, the application will be approved.

 

Credit score is greater than 51:

  1. NAC will gather credit information for significant historical business legal fillings or collections.
  2. The application will be approved.
